Landscape Conservation
A new landscape approach to conserving the biodiversity in Wilshire and Swindon has been recently developed.

NELMS Countryside Stewardship draft Targeting Statements
Natural England have released the draft NELMs targeting statements for each Natural Character Area (NCA) in England. The NCA target statements that fall wholly or partially within Wiltshire or Swindon are available by following the link.You can provide feedback to Natural England by 23 November by following the links.
Our Link2Nature Annual Forum was held on the 2nd October and attended by nearly 70 people.
To see the agenda and speakers click here The forum delegates discussed how we can progress the delivery of landscape scale conservation in the county and also the role the natural environment plays in promoting good public health. Watch this space for further information about how these important initiatives are being taken forward.
